Doubletree Ranch is secluded well within the wild and scenic section of the legendary Rogue River and preserves nearly a mile of private river frontage. It remains as wild and beautiful as when it was homesteaded in 1891. Its rugged beauty has been featured in several movies; "Spirit of the Eagle" and "Grizzly Mountain" starring Dan Haggarty and "Dead Man" starring Johnny Depp.

The ranch is ten minutes from Merlin and twenty minutes from Grants Pass where many river centered activities originate. It is within easy driving distance of Crater Lake National Park, The Oregon Shakespearean Festival in Ashland, Oregon Caves National Monument and Jacksonville National Historic Landmark. You can explore miles of Oregon countryside while comfortably housed in one of our cabins. The 160 acre ranch offers walking trails, bird and wildlife watching, excellent bank fishing and perfect peace and quiet.
